This Sunday, one of my favourite bands of recent years is playing a free show at LOAF label headquarters in London. GaBlé are a French band who are pretty hard to genrelise. They make obtuse pop songs, well characterised by this fantastic animation for their track ‘Drunk Fox in London’ from their second LP ‘Seven Guitars With a Cloud of Milk’ - perhaps my favourite record of 2008.
Anyway, the show is to perform some tracks from their follow-up to last year’s mini album ‘I’m OK’, and the LOAF HQ being the lovely place it is, it’s sure to be a good one.
